Hello, Iām David Violante, the Emergency Medical Services Coordinator with the Society for Hospital and Resources Exchange ā SHARE.
SHARE is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare in Africa. Our recent projects are in Kenya ā a country that has been devastated by AIDS, floods, droughts, and other infectious diseases like malaria and sleeping sickness.
Since its inception in 1987, SHARE has sponsored many short and long term projects like mobile health clinics and an orphan sponsorship program in Africa – and have transported over a million dollars worth of medical supplies to their local and district hospitals.
In 1993 SHARE sponsored its first and longest running prehospital medical training program which has trained more than 800 people in basic and advanced prehospital care.
In 2006, SHARE completed the construction of a medical clinic that is slated to serve over 150,000 people living in the most severely AIDS-affected areas of Kenya.
I have traveled to Kenya myself and have realized that one person really can make a difference.
We need your help to continue.
Monies for orphans will buy food, clothing, provide medical attention, and sleep nets that protect from disease bearing mosquitoes.
Donated medical supplies will go to hospitals and clinics that are operating without basic medical necessities.
Your financial donations, no matter what size, will go directly to our Africa programs, and are 100% tax deductible.
Provide the gift of hope and make a difference in someone’s life.
Call 845-634-8798 or visit our web site at shareafrica.org. S-H-A-R-E Africa.org
Thank you.
