Board Member, SHARE
David is the Assistant Director of Emergency Medical Services(EMS) for the Arlington Fire District in Poughkeepsie, NY. In addition to providing paramedic level care, he is primarily responsible for quality assurance, EMS training, and assessment of compliance with departmental, regional, state and federal regulations.
David is also an Assistant Coordinator and Adjunct lecturer of the Emergency Services Program for Dutchess Community College, where he is involved in basic and advanced level provider education and program development.
He joined the Board of SHARE as the EMS Coordinator in 1997 and is currently involved in the facilitation of EMS education and system development throughout Kenya.
He has an AAS in Paramedicine from Rockland Community College, a BS (Bachelor of science degree) in Organizational Leadership and Communications from Marist College, and is pursuing a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University in NY.
He serves on the Dutchess County EMS Council, Medical Advisory Committee and Quality Assurance Committee; Hudson Valley Regional EMS Council, Training Committee and Medical Advisory Committee; and Fire and Emergency Training Network content advisory committee.
